Many Lead Participants took the chance to get informed about the sub-project's implementation

On 31 January 2006 the RFO Coordination Unit organised in Düsseldorf the 2nd seminar for Lead Participants (agenda).

Seventeen representatives of eight sub-projects participated in the meeting dealing with topics such as the overall project implementation, financial management, reporting procedures and publicity requirements. Besides, questions with regard to cash flow and audit trail were clarified with the RFO Financial Manager and the RFO Auditor who also attended the seminar.

The presentation of the RFO Coordination Unit was accompanied by a lively discussion in which the participants reported on their own experiences and possible problem solutions.

In individual sessions offered by the RFO Coordination Unit in the afternoon the participants had the opportunity to go into details and to discuss specific queries concerning the sub-project's implementation process, the preparation of the first financial and activity report as well as the management of their sub-projects.

Further information on the seminar is available. Please contact the RFO Coordination-Unit: change-on-borders@mwme.nrw.de

RFO - Coordination Unit welcomes Lead Participants

For the first time, the RFO - Coordination Unit invited the Lead Participants of the approved RFO sub-projects to an information seminar in Düsseldorf, which took place on 3 June 2005 (agenda).

Its aim was to inform about the specific implementation requirements and procedures for these projects. Furthermore the seminar helped to clarify questions in order to facilitate a smooth implementation of the different sub-projects.

Several sub-project representatives attended the meeting and used the opportunity to discuss individual questions with the Coordination Unit. The main topics were the reporting and audit procedures, the financial flow, the monitoring of projects and publicity requirements.

In addition, the seminar contributed to establish closer contacts between the Lead Participants and the Lead Partner. It also served to exchange experience in particular about implementation questions.

Further information about the seminar can be provided by the RFO- Coordination Unit at: change-on-borders@mwme.nrw.de
